We got this pretty boy when he was 8 weeks old in August 01. John got him for
me as a companion right after my hysterectomy to keep me company during my
recuperation. He has been a very fun guy to have around and he loves to ride on
the motorcycle with us.  We call him Stubby. He at 6 months cornered a baby
opossum and would not let him go until we got home do not know how long he
had him cornered.  He must have nine lives like a cat because we have almost
lost him two times so far.  He got hold of something in the back yard and we
did not know what it was but he got really sick and not sure if he was going to
make it but did we found out that he got hold of toad stoles in the back yard
from that point I make sure they are pulled every year. He also picked a fight
with our male collie Brodie it was so strange these two had been together for
several years and slept together and never had any problems but we came
home one afternoon and I found Stubby covered in blood and his right eye was
popped  out. Rushed him to the vet and they saved his life but could not save
the eye in anyway, so he is our one eyed wonder. That is what happens
sometimes when there is a female in season and after this they were friends for
ever also. He is all terrier. He got out one night when the pizza man came and
we did not know it we were up all night looking for him and I had called
everyone i could think of and started making fliers when animal control called
and said that they just got a call from someone who had a yorkie that showed
up at their front door last night, they said go across the street and get your boy.
He was across the street all night.
